Q: I have already received a permit but
want to become a better driver. What can you offer me?
A: We offer a 10-hour Jungle Survival driver training session that teaches drivers how to survive in the highway jungle. The Jungle way of driving is a very specific and proactive approach to driving. Drivers learn how to become hard to hit by practicing, on the road, how to expect the uncertain actions of other drivers.
Q: I am new to Michigan. Can you explain
to me about Segment 1 and Segment 2?
A: Michigan utilizes a teen licensing process called Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL). GDL is a driver licensing system designed to teach teens to drive by gradually increasing their driving privileges as they advance through the system. GDL consists of two segments of driver education instruction and three licensing levels. The driver education course is made up of Segment 1, which consists of a minimum of 24 hours of classroom instruction and a minimum of 6 hours of
behind-the-wheel training, and Segment 2, which consists of a minimum of 6 hours of classroom instruction, designed to provide teens with defensive driving skills.
The three licensing levels in GDL are: a supervised learner's license (Level 1 License) an intermediate license that limits unsupervised nighttime driving (Level 2 License), and a full-privilege driver license (Level 3 License) issued after a teen driver has successfully completed all previous instructional and driving requirements. GDL, license levels 1 and 2 have certain restrictions to limit teens' driving exposure to high risk situations and help protect them while they're learning to drive. Q: When can I take my road-test?
A: You may schedule your road-test after your teen has completed Segment 1 and 2, logged a minimum of 50 hours of behind the wheel driving time (10 hours of night driving) with a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21 and has driven with their Level 1 License for 6 months.

be to take Driver's Education?
A: They must be at least 14 years and 8 months
old to enroll in a Segment 1 session.
Q: Does my child receive one-on-one training?
A: That's what we do. We strive for providing the
best instruction possible. Students are treated as individuals with different learning styles and levels of comprehension.
Q: Do I have to pay the full amount right
away?
A: No, all we require is a deposit of 50% of the
segment cost. Then pay the balance when your student begins class.
Q: What do I need to take to the Secretary
of State after completion of Segment 1?
A: You need a Social Security number, Birth Certificate, Picture ID and the green Segment 1 certificate we provide you.
Q: Do you provide transportation from school?
