Please call the office (616) 676-6400 to schedule a parking or a driving test simulation.

Getting Ready for The Test

We will get you ready for the test and can take you through a mock testing route. Jungle Drivers Training, LLC does not do the actual Driving Skills Test. The test is administered by a third-party service. We do not offer the test on its own, that will have to be done directly through a third-party Driving Skills Test location

TEENS

Before your teen driver can apply to take the Driving Skills Test, he or she must have successfully completed Segment 2 of the driver’s education course, received the Segment 2 Certificate of Completion, and logged a minimum of 50 hours supervised driving which includes a minimum of 10 hours at night. Driving Skills Tests are provided by independent third-party testing organizations approved by the Secretary of State’s office. The Driving Skills Test will consist of two parts—a basic control skills test (aka parking test) and an on-road driving test.

Adults (18+)

If you are 18 or older, want to become a licensed Michigan driver, and have not been licensed in Michigan or any other state in the previous four years, you must pass a written driver knowledge test and apply for a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIP) at a Secretary of State office. A TIP allows you to practice driving under the supervision of a licensed adult driver for at least 30 days before taking the driving skills test. Once you have passed the driving skills test and the results have been received, you may log into e-Services to obtain a Temporary Operator License to drive on until your license has been processed and mailed.
